What is Score! Hero?

Score! Hero is a free football game from First Touch Games, the UK studio behind Dream League Soccer 2026. Instead of controlling a whole team for 90 minutes, you live one player's career through hundreds of short story levels. Each level drops you into a key moment of a match, and your job is to make the right passes and score.

The controls are what make it different. You draw a line with your finger to pass the ball between teammates, then draw a curve to shoot, bending it around defenders and the keeper. There's no joystick and no timing button. It plays more like a puzzle than a sports sim, which is why people who don't usually play football games enjoy it.

Draw-to-play controls

Swipe from your player to a teammate to pass, and the ball follows your line. To shoot, draw toward goal, and the curve of your line becomes the curve of the shot. Precision matters more than speed: a pass drawn through a defender gets intercepted.

A story-driven career

Your player starts at a small club and moves up as you complete levels, with transfers, big matches and international call-ups along the way. Each level has a goal, such as scoring, assisting or scoring with a specific foot or a header, and you earn up to three stars for how well you do.

Seasons of new levels

First Touch keeps adding new seasons, each with fresh levels. With Season 63 in this update, there's a long career to work through, and you can replay old levels to earn missing stars.

Customize your player

Choose your player's look, boots and kit, and pick which club you sign for when offers come in. It doesn't change how levels play, but it makes the career feel like yours.

Energy and rewards

Playing a level costs energy, which refills over time. Stars and bucks unlock rewards and upgrades. This is where the in-app purchases come in: you can buy energy and bucks to play longer, but you don't have to.

Tips for earning three stars

Look at the whole pitch before you draw anything. The best route is often a short pass to an open teammate rather than a long ball through a crowd. Keep passing lines away from defenders' legs, since a line that brushes past one usually gets cut out. When shooting, curve the ball around the keeper toward the far corner instead of drawing straight at goal. And if a level keeps beating you, replay earlier ones for stars: they're often easier the second time.
