DMCA and removal requests
Last updated
APKPeer respects the rights of developers, publishers and other copyright and trademark owners. If you believe something on apkpeer.com infringes your rights, tell us and we'll review it promptly.
What we host
Most APKPeer pages contain our own written descriptions and link to Google Play or the developer's website for downloads. Where we host an APK file, it's an unmodified copy of the developer's official build. Pages also show app icons and screenshots to identify the app.
If you're a developer and would prefer that we don't host your APK, or you'd like us to use different images or link only to your official store page, just ask. You don't need to send a formal legal notice for that.
How to send a notice
Send your notice through the contact form (choose "Copyright / DMCA notice" as the topic) and include:
- your name, your organization (if any) and how we can contact you
- the work you believe is being infringed (for example, your app, logo or screenshots)
- the exact URL(s) on apkpeer.com where the material appears
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use isn't authorized by the rights owner, its agent or the law
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights owner or authorized to act on their behalf
- your physical or electronic signature
What happens next
We aim to respond within five working days. If the notice is complete and valid, we'll remove or disable the material and confirm when that's done. If something is unclear, we'll reply asking for the missing details.
Counter-notices
If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice the same way. Include your contact details, the URL of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, and your signature.
Repeat infringement
APKPeer doesn't accept user uploads. Removal requests apply to content we published ourselves, and we take them seriously when deciding what to cover in the future.
